This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what control you have over it. It covers this site only, not the retailer pages our product links lead to.

Information We Collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not sell personal data.

If you submit the contact form or the newsletter form, the details you type are what you choose to share. Both forms on this site are informational and are not currently connected to a mail backend, so submissions return an error notice rather than being stored.

Standard server logs record the request address, browser type, referring page and timestamp. Logs are used for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies

A small cookie records whether you dismissed the cookie notice, so it does not reappear on every page.

Analytics cookies may be set to measure aggregate traffic patterns such as page views and time on page. They do not identify you by name.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking them does not stop you reading the site.

Analytics

Aggregate analytics tell us which product pages get read and where visitors stop scrolling. Reports are read at the group level, not per person.

Affiliate and Third-Party Links

Product links carry an affiliate tag. When you follow one, the destination retailer applies its own privacy policy and its own cookies. Read theirs before you buy.

We receive commission reports from the retailer in aggregate. Those reports do not tell us who you are.

The site is served over an encrypted connection and kept patched. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults buying lighting hardware. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and it will be deleted.

Your Choices

You can decline the cookie notice, block cookies in your browser, and avoid submitting either form. None of those choices restricts access to the published content.
